In her State-of-the-Province Address, North Cotabato Gov. Emmylou Taliño-Mendoza detailed how the ₱1.2-billion Central Mindanao Airport (CMA) in Barangay Tawan-Tawan, M'lang, and the ₱271.2-million Cotabato Agro-Industrial Park (CAIP) are advancing as the province's "game-changing" infrastructure investments. CMA, designed to handle 3.5 million passengers a year and already pitched to Philippine Airlines, Cebu Pacific, and AirAsia, has secured full landowner compensation across 103.2 hectares plus a ₱450-million facilities package for terminal, power, and drainage works. CAIP, billed as Central Mindanao's first agro-industrial hub, is fast-tracking BOI and PEZA registration to attract halal-export and agribusiness locators, building on momentum from Alpha-3's newly opened poultry dressing plant in Makilala. The province remains debt-free with a ₱1.2-billion 2025 surplus.

Real Estate Outlook

As CMA nears operational readiness and CAIP locks in export incentives, land along the M'lang-Kidapawan corridor and Makilala's agro-industrial belt stands to benefit first. Investors eyeing logistics, cold-storage, and agribusiness sites should track BOI/PEZA registration milestones as early signals of incentive-driven land demand.
